Vector Release: Unknown Grindplate: Slo Bro The Soap Vector is a heavy duty shoe that mixes new school with old school. It features the plain styling found on old school shoes, including an old school grip, but thats where the old school stops. The sole and surrounding bottom area of this shoe is very similar as that on the Soap Ordnances, which are well known for their comfort and grinding control features. The final feature of the Vectors are the replacable Slo Bro grind plates, which are perfect for grinding control. Someone needs to check the copy on this descriptive listing --- the midsole is the same as the Ordnance, but the outsole isn't even close in either tread pattern or mold set-up. In fact, only the tread pattern is shared by the Vector, the Septum, and the Scab. Maybe that's what they meant by old-school styling? Dec 17, 2006 Kru I think old-school styling means it has clean looks to it. Simple colors with simple patterns all that match together. The turnable is not old-school by any means for example or the shorchers. These are very basic compared to those stylings.
