Grindplate: N/A

The X Factor were the second grind shoe to be released by Salomon, follwing the Mr. Wilson. The main differences here are that the quick-release lace-up system is gone, replaced with standard laces, and the harder grind plate, giving the grinder less feel than the Mr Wilson, but with the bonus of increased speed due to less friction.

Yes, they did. If they didn't, it would have been one of the ''main differences' listed

Ok thanx man.....its just that i've been thinking....i want a Grind Shoe with a 50/50 lateral plate...i dunno...i guess maybe to learn and widen what i already know...you know what i mean? I'm sure everyone has thought in a similar manner once or twice

These MAY be the x factors. The pic quality is low, but they dont look like Mr. wilsons to me. And they definetly arent broadsides.

The lead foot looks A LOT like the Black Slice. But the Slices didn't have sole plates, nor were they released

A harder nylon plate is necessary on a grind shoe whit a sole plate.

So this came out AFTER the Mr. Wilsons? and it indeed did feature a sole plate?
