Soapers from the UK are so good.

Nov 21, 2006 Slidey

Yeah, that would be because of the lack of skate parks and MASSIVE handrails we have everywhere, I had to learn (or am still learning) hip hieght rails the hard way.

Thats a sick rail and great tweakage, you don't realli see many white rails around do you?

A friend emailed me and told me a photo of me was online.

I haven't seen this photo in a while. Thanks for the comments.

This was a road trip some friends and I did up the west coast of South Africa.
Unfortunately the photo was printed on matte paper and then scanned in. Thus the not-so-good quality.

Jul 17, 2007 broox

these are not turntables.

Jul 17, 2007 AnthoFlex

u sure? i remember seeing that they were somewhere....i duno w.e

Jul 17, 2007 broox

no, i'm not 100% sure, but here are my thoughts.

The biggest clue is that I don't believe Turntables have that bottom lace holder on the toe like you can see in this photo. The blue turntables in particular have a dark Soap logo on the toe, not a white one as pictured here. the laces appear to go behind a flap of leather or something, which does not happen on the turntables.

finally, the turntables also have a white lower sole, which, even though this is a nicely tweaked royale, I think we'd see part of the white, especially on that back foot.

However, I don't really have a better argument. They sort of look like expresses, but I think this photo is way to old for that. It might even be too old for Turntables.

I'm guessin they're either dark sylons or dark boltars with the white marked out?

Indigo Boltars with the white marked out? Possible, but probably not, same argument goes with the white bottoms. But it seems more likely than the turntables.
Dark Sylons? The problem here is that Soap logo on the toe is still off.
Daggit has that lace holder and Soap O, but there's too much white.
Express just seems too new.
Nitro also seems too new.

I'm pretty damn sure that those are cobalt boltars then. I'll upload a pic to show you guys tomorrow.

Jul 18, 2007 pepsi

yeah, they look exactly like cobalts, the laces..the colour..

the front even looks the same ;x

Lol, I was born in the UK but most my family are from South Africa (me, my bro and my sister were born in the UK), sadly were my cousins live (in SA) (in a estate) there are no hand rails (apparently, but I do remember there being lotsa Curbs :p

RamenRadio is right.
They're my old Boltars. I had Goas and Boltars. The Boltars have the plastic on the royale part of the foot so they took a damage a lot better than the Goas did.
