Anything that takes good quality pictures/video. Video-wise you're looking at a Canon GL2/XL1-S or a Sony VX2000/VX3000/PD150

As far as stills are concerned, I use a Canon PowershotA40. Does the job well but I could do with a camera with a larger CCD

Oh, and a decent SLR will always give you better pics than a digital camera, no question

true but you don't really need that high of quality pics for soaping, unless you're going to be in a magazine or something (which I doubt will happen). I use the Canon A80. Tis very good.

So How much do they cost?

(And do those like crapy cameras work like the Out Side Inside cameras work?)

Jun 12, 2004Mart

'Canon' and 'crappy' will never ever belong in the same sentence, foo

o. How much were those cameras you guys got?

Jun 12, 2004Mart

My A40 was about $450 Christmas '02

Jun 12, 2004Curtinator

Ok. Do they sell em at wal-mart?

Jun 12, 2004Mart

I dunno, I'm a limey. Try searching Google, you'll probably find a better price online anyway

Ok thanks Mart

I'm not sure what you were trying to say there, but you better have not just called Canon crappy...

I got my powershot A80 for $379 for christmas 03. Recently I've seen the price go down to around $320.

I have a sony digital camcorder DCR-TRV250 NTSC

Well it's pretty nice, I think I bought it for around $400, I usually just take video stills using my capture program, but it has a slot for a picture card or whatever so it can be used to digital pictures as well. I want to get a fisheye lens...

i use a minolta maxxum 5 slr. its film, it isnt the greatest camera but will do just fine for soap pics. its only like 300 bucks or something too.

Jun 13, 2004Curtinator
