home-made tricks.
Sep 9, 2007 by iwantsoapshoes

ok, guys, i've made up a few tricks ltely and here they are:

UNITY CAB-DRIVER:
basically, your legs are crossed, like a unity, but your feet are in cab-driver position.

THE SPLITS:
basically, you need two rails, and one foot on each rail.

SPLIT ROYALE:
same as the splits, only your feet are in royale position.

180 JUMPSPIN.
basicaly, while grinding you jump, 180 spin and land on the rail again. this can also beba 360 and so on and so on.

thats all of them. sorry if any of the tricks have already been made, i dont know EVERY trick.

I don't think you can invent a trick without actually doing the trick. But good thinking though.

As for the "unity cab-driver" are you thinking of something like this....

http://www.solidgrind.com/photo/soap-shoes/140/

If so I think that is just a regular unity only tweaked a lot.

Yea, i was just gonna say that.

And if you mean that your feet are tweaked the opposite way, hold your breath, because it isnt possible.

As for the "180 Jumpspin" that already has a name. Depending on what trick you are doing it would be called a Frontside Switch (or to switch), Royale Switch, Farf switch, etc. Perhaps "switch-up" can be used, i dunno.

This isnt to be confused with Switch Frontside, Switch Royale, etc, as this is totally different

For example say you are doing a frontside jump 180 and the you are in switch frontside.

That would be frontside switch-up to switch frontside?

Or frontside to switch frontside?

i think when u do a 180 spin in a fontside position i think its still a backside but the move when u kump and switch TO frontside to backside is called a switch up. am i right renny?

Sep 10, 2007Page645

when u jump and switch*

Sep 10, 2007RamenRadio

I was never 100 percent sure myself

Sep 10, 2007Page645

all i know is that i can do a switch-up but man i need alot more practice

Sep 10, 2007RamenRadio

XD me too, I don't like switch-ups that much unless I'm doing it from cheesegrater, to frontside to ally-oop cheesgrater and other switch ups like that.

I don't like going from frontside to backside.

Sep 11, 2007Rynasty

The most switchups I've done on a rail (frontside to backside) is like 4. There's a rail that I want to keep doing switches on throughout the whole grind because its soooo long.

Sep 11, 2007Rynasty

And you don't say it like "frontside SWITCH" You just say "frontside to..._" or whatever trick you're doing relative to where you jumped on the rail.
