Before heelys came out, there was a shoe with wheels in it. They were sketchers. In the commercials, they shown how easy it was to take them out compared to how you set up your razor ( and obviously made the razor seem more difficult). I don't know where to find that advertisement though, and I think I have gone far enough. I was only being nice, and I don't know how to spell the damn name of the shoes lol. What I've done to avoid my grindplates wearing out on non-replaceable plate shoes is to make sure you only grind smooth surfaces with those shoes. Rough surfaces aren't worth grinding anyway, all they do is tear up your plates and make it harder to do tricks, plus you don't get very far.
