But anyways, speaking of plates:

Do you think that I can fit a size 9/10 plate on a size 11 shoe?

yes 9-10 plates will fit an 11-12 shoe. a friend of mine has some sylon 12s and my size 9-10 plates fit his shoes

You can get away with down-sizing one plate set size. Renny did it with this Curb Busters (plate size 7/8's onto a size nine shoe). --- Steve

DO you think I can use sandpaper to put grooves into my shoes? I'm starting to move onto rails and I stay off curbs with my new plates.... But the grooves are starting to wear off b/c of my school benches!

Dude, form natural grooves be grinding ledges.

Yes, your plates will look like shit, but it also shows style, and you get perfect lock-in grooves.



plus, sandpaper doesnt help
